Many of our clients supply us with their original drawings, paintings, or photographs for our professionals to reproduce. You may ship your original watercolors, pencil or ink drawings, photographs, or vintage printed materials to our mailing address. We will perform a high-resolution scan on the original piece(s) and produce as many copies as you like.

You may request copies at the original document size, or for the reproduction to be enlraged or reduced. Blow up a snapshot to a poster size, shrink a painting onto a 5 x 7 notecard, or put your graduate's wallet-sized photo onto a 6-foot party banner! The possibilities are endless!

Here's a few frequently-asked questions:

What Types of Electronic Files Are Acceptable?

We accept most every type of electronic image file created by digital cameras or imaging applications, such as JPEG, TIFF, EPS, PDF, GIF, PICT, BMP, Adobe Photoshop (PSD),Adobe Illustrator (AI), and all Microsoft-created documents (Word,Publisher, etc.). If you have any questions, or want to know about compatability of other software documents not listed, feel free to contact our office.

What Resolution Should I Use?

Generally speaking, the higher the resolution, the better the print quality of the reproduction--and the larger the file size. Large files may need to be compressed (using file compression software) before sending via e-mail, or burned onto a CD-ROM and mailed to us. For best results, provide artwork at 300 dpi and sized to the finished size. Documents requiring enlargements should be provided at higher resolutions (400 to 600 dpi). Reduced documents may only require 150 to 72 dpi, depending upon the level of reduction. Vector graphics, such as those created in Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw, can be reproduced at any size without quality loss. If in doubt, call or send us an e-mail and we will be happy to advise you.

How Do I Ship My Original Artwork?

Send your original artwork via a reliable INSURED carrier (we recommend FedEx or UPS),either packaged flat in heavy cardboard, or rolled in a sturdy shipping tube. All original artwork and prints are shipped from our office with the utmost care and protection. Although we carry insurance on every parcel shipped from our office, we are not responsible for damage incurred after packages have been shipped which is over and above the insured value.
